• Our goals are:

  1. Positive influence to youth, so that they don't start or stop the habit of smoking
  2. Positive influence to the smokers, so that they become aware of and quit the habit of smoking
  3. Co-operation with the Greek state for the development and enforcement of fair laws that protect citizens and especially young people from harmful and destructive messages of the tobacco industry, as well as protect non-smokers' health and freedom from passive smoking
  4. Broader influence to youth by way of:
     • Focusing on the bright side of life
     • Empowering their personal development
     • Supporting their growth with values
     • Empowering healthy role models and disempowering unhealthy ones
     Contributing for that matter to the formation of a better, healthier, future society

• Activities in tobacco-control

  Social marketing about smoking prevention and smoking reduction in Greece, including:

  • Development and updates on the web page www.nosmoke.gr (in Greek at the moment, but a summary will be translated in English soon)
  • Production and promotion of anti-smoking songs
  • Organizing anti-smoking concerts
  • Organizing anti-smoking presentations
  • Organizing no-smoking parties
  • Interviews with popular or key figures speaking against smoking
  • Participation in relevant documentary films and books
  • Suggestions to the Greek State for improvements on the anti-smoking laws
  • Participation in relevant conferences
  • Sending anti-smoking materials through the internet and via mail (videos, mp3, CDs, prospectus etc)
  • Co-operation with other NGO's for the common goal: Smoking prevention and reduction in Greece
